A big thank you to members who attended our first RTO READS event in June 2024. Not only was this a fun event, but it resulted in a wonderful list of books for the coming year.
Please note that additional special events may be added as the year goes on - we love to include author visits when we can and these sometimes happen at the last minute.

- Thursday Sept. 19, 10 a.m. - 1st Book Club Meeting of the year - at Bonnie's place - we will celebrate a new book club year, enjoy social time, and share Great Summer Reads

- Thursday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m. - Valley of the Birdtail by Andrew Stobo Sniderman and Douglas Sanderson - thanks to Carla, we have booked The Yurt KW on Duke Street in Kitchener (They have a FB page and an Instagram account if you'd like to check them out! It looks like a unique and wonderful spot for our October discussion. (If you scroll down to the bottom of this page, I've added a few photos from this meeting.)

- Thursday, Nov. 14 (please note this date change), 10 a.m. - The Best Kind of People by Zoe Whittall - we will be meeting at the ETFO Office - 610 Wabanaki Drive in Kitchener - they have a lovely meeting room which will easily accommodate our growing numbers!
